The mining Museum is located in the small town of Akhtal. Website of the museum: Bergbaumuseum Achthal
Address: Teisendorfer Str. 63, 83317 Teisendorf, Germany
The museum works from 2 May to 30 September from Tuesday to Sunday from 13 until 16 o'clock, on weekends and holidays - from 10,00 until 12,00 o'clock. The cost of the tickets -4,5 euros for adults, 2 euros for children from 6 to 15 years.
As I understood from the website and the prospectus, the Museum tells about the development of mining in Bavaria, most of the exhibition is devoted to the development of metallurgy in Bavaria, it tells about the full process of metal production, from the moment of mining to remelting and receiving the product. The Museum is small, but quite interesting. If you have a little time and are nearby, you can take a look.
