Not an ordinary place, not a zoo, not a park, it is a kennel - Falconry garden of Paul Klima. On the shore of the river Izar between Bad-Telzer and Wolfratshausen only in half an hour drive to the south from Munich is situated this kennel of predatory birds.
Unlike other kennels i didn't find demonstration flights of predatory birds here, here is another directivity. So by paying 45 euros on weekday and 60 euros on weekend or holiday you will listen to the 2 hours lection on the basic knowledge of the Falconry hunting, and also know the details about the keeping and feeding predatory birds and will hold the predatory bird in your hand. In conclusion you will have time to make selfie with birds. The group is no more 10 people.
There's a big Falconry seminar, with duration about 4-5 hours for groups of 4. The cost is 169 euros and 199 euros. This seminar is more detailed of course, lunch is included in the price. in conclusion there's a little photosession with birds.
And the third variant of program is photosession in the nature consists of 20 photos. The duration of the event is 1,5-2 hours, you will have a direct contact with birds, you can choose predators by yourself (it is allowed to choose two birds). The cost is from 259 euros, the cost of the couple is 349 euros. I also recommend to look the website, there is much interesting there as Paul Klimm was one of the first who put microcameras on birds what allows to see the world from a bird's eye view (watch two videos beneath).
All seminars are held from the middle of April to the middle of October.
