If you go from Munich to Bad Reichenhall, nearly in one third of the way to the capital of Bavaria and in 1 hour 6 minutes drive from the resort city (101km) a small zoo is situated, it is a usual and nowadays modern petting zoo. It is called BergTierPark Blindham
The zoo works without weekends and holidays. The zoo on the map.
Working time:
Summer time (March- October) - Zoo: 9- 20 o'clock, daily, Game: 9 - 18
o'clock, daily, Box office: 18 h.
Winter time - zoo garden: 10 - 18 o'clock,
daily, Game: 10-18
o'clock, Box office: 16 h.
It is available to go inside with dogs but on a leash.
Attention, in the box office of the zoo only cash is accepted, banknotes in denominations of 100 euros. The cost of the visit for adult is 8,50 euros, for children under 15 years - 7 euros, children under 1 year - free ( you will need a document with the age of a child).
Among the animals in the zoo there are mountain goats, rams, forest deer, hogs, and of course rabbits, horses and donkeys. There's a big playground with carousels, swing and tranpoline. From my view this place will be great for parents with children under 10 years, that need a playground to have fun and want to rest from the active holiday and excursions.
