One of the highest and the most beautiful waterfalls not only in Bavaria but in all Germany – the waterfall Kuhfluchtwasserfälle
The waterfalls are situated in the south-west of Bavaria near the city Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It is 2 hours 15 minutes from Bad Reichenhall. Pay attention that to get to this part of Bavaria you can by two ways: by autobahns of Germany and by autobahns of Austria, so while deciding which route to choose do not forget to buy a vignette.
The parking address which is advised by guides - Esterbergstraße 5, 82490 Farchant. The main advantage of this walk is that it is free and that the access to waterfalls is available during all year round without time limits.
The walk time to the main cascade of waterfalls is nearly one hour. If you want to walk and have time you can continue the route along the green signs and in hour – hour 15 minutes you will reach the fantastically beautiful observation deck where the third step of the waterfall is seen, the city Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the mountain Zugspitze.
