Between Tramsweg and Murau (Austria), you can take a retro train ride on the Murtalbahn railway
If you are traveling from Bavaria, it is easier to start your trip from the city of Transweg, the address of the station Bahnhofstraße 4, 5580 Tamsweg (do not forget the vignette). You can drive both on a modern train and on electric cars built in 1930, and, in my opinion, the best option is a trip with a steam locomotive.The road is narrow-gauge (760 mm), built about 120 years ago. Now it is possible to ride a train with one of the five steam locomotives, some of which were built in the 19th century (!!!) - in 1892, and the "youngest" locomotive was born in 1915, it is also more than 100 years old (fantastic!).

But in addition to an ordinary trip on this railway, there is still a possibility ... manage this train, of course, under the supervision of an instructor. As far as I understand, it costs about 380 euros and the lesson lasts about 45 minutes.
