The gorge Lammerklamm is not a tourist place, but a very good path for a walk in a fine day.
The parking address Lammertal Str. 78-136, 5441 Austria (the parking is free).
Remember that it is a territory of Austria; you will need a vignette to ride there. You can also get there by bus 947 or 470 (go from the railway in Goling).
The working time – from the middle of April (as usual from Easter) to October. The length of the route is about 2 km, the length of the walk is one hour, the entrance is 4 euros.
The drying of limestone rocks by a river formed the gorge. It was opened as a tourist path in 1885. I have not been there myself, I can judge only by the tourists’ reports and photos. The part of the gorge, which is situated on the right of the entrance, is a little part of the way, which ends in a dead end. On the left, there is a simple route with a river inside the gorge. Unfortunately, people with disabilities could not walk there because the path is very narrow and with big height difference/ladders. The big advantage of this place is that it is not a tourist destination, so you can walk a little slower enjoying the nature.
